We install resin driveways in Ealing that look sharp, drain freely and stay that way: the right base, UV-stable resin, clean-dried aggregate and a hand-trowelled finish.
Ealing has some of west London's finest Edwardian and Victorian streets, and a front drive should match. We install resin driveways in Ealing across W5 and W13, from Pitshanger and Hanger Hill to the roads around Ealing Common, Castlebar and West Ealing. A resin bound finish gives a smooth, even surface that suits period brick and tiled paths, frees up parking off busy roads and needs little more than a sweep and an occasional wash.
We trowel UV-stable resin and graded aggregate over a base of open-grade tarmac or concrete, creating a resin bound driveway that drains freely. On London clay that matters, as water would otherwise sit on the surface. Where a tarmac or concrete drive is still sound, we can overlay it. We finish edges with brick, granite or steel to suit the house. Our work is insured, guaranteed and backed by FMB, TrustMark, VUBA and Guild of Master Craftsmen accreditation.

A properly mixed and laid resin bound surface resists cracking, frost and everyday car traffic for many years.
No loose stones, no joints for weeds. A regular brush and an occasional wash keep it looking new.
Curves, borders, steps and patterns, in a wide choice of natural aggregate colours to match any home.
Resin bound is fully permeable, so rainwater drains through and the drive meets SuDS requirements.
A firm, slip-resistant, level surface with no loose gravel, ideal for children, older visitors and wheelchairs.
Most resin drives are laid in days, and you can usually walk on them within hours of finishing.

Call 020 8226 5062In Ealing, cost depends on the size of your frontage, how much clay and old surface needs digging out, and whether we can overlay existing tarmac or concrete. Period homes often have walls, steps or tiled paths to work around, and controlled parking zones can affect skip and delivery arrangements. Edging choice and aggregate blend also count. The names sound alike, but the two systems behave very differently. This is what matters when you choose.

Ask us at a free surveyEaling has more than two dozen conservation areas, including Brentham Garden Suburb, Ealing Green and Mount Park, and some carry Article 4 directions that remove permitted development rights for frontages. Before changing a front garden in those streets, we check whether consent is needed. The ground is London clay, which drains poorly and moves with the seasons, so a well-built permeable base is essential to stop puddling and cracking. Many Edwardian houses have narrow front gardens with low boundary walls and original tiled paths worth keeping, so we design around them. Busy roads and controlled parking zones also mean planning skip and delivery space before work starts.
We also cover these nearby areas with the same team and the same guarantees.
Resin is only as good as the base and the mix. This is how our team makes sure yours lasts.
We check the existing surface, levels and drainage and show you aggregate samples on site.

Straight answers to the questions Ealing customers ask us most. If yours is not here, call us.
Yes. Water drains straight through a resin bound surface into the base below, so it is SuDS compliant and usually meets the permeable front garden rules without planning permission.
It depends on the street. A permeable resin bound driveway usually falls under permitted development, but some Ealing conservation areas, such as parts of Brentham Garden Suburb, have Article 4 directions covering front gardens and boundary walls. Removing a wall or creating new parking may then need consent. A new dropped kerb always needs approval from Ealing Council. We check your address before quoting and advise on what to apply for.
Often, yes. If your tarmac or concrete is sound, stable and drains well, we can repair and clean it and lay resin on top. If it is cracked or sinking, a new base is the better long-term choice.
Laid on a proper base with UV-stable resin, a resin bound driveway should last many years with simple care: regular sweeping and an occasional wash.
You can usually walk on it within a few hours and drive on it after a day or two, depending on the weather. We confirm timings on the day.
We use UV-stable resin, which resists yellowing in sunlight. Oil and fuel spills should be cleaned up quickly, as with any driveway surface.
