We install resin driveways in Datchet that look sharp, drain freely and stay that way: the right base, UV-stable resin, clean-dried aggregate and a hand-trowelled finish.
Datchet is a village where kerb appeal matters, from the cottages around The Green to the family homes along Horton Road and London Road. Our team lays resin driveways in Datchet that look clean and stay that way, with no loose gravel tracking indoors and no weeds pushing through. We also install resin paths and patios, so the front and back of a home can share one finish, with an aggregate blend picked to sit well beside local brick.
Every Datchet resin driveway we lay is resin bound, not resin bonded, so it is fully permeable and SuDS compliant. We trowel UV-stable resin and aggregate over an open-grade tarmac or concrete base, letting rain soak away instead of pooling. Sound existing surfaces can often be overlaid. We hold FMB, Guild of Master Craftsmen, TrustMark and VUBA accreditation, carry full public liability insurance and guarantee all our work.
Most of our resin work comes from recommendations. Here is what customers say about us.

Aggregate and resin mixed and trowelled to a smooth, porous finish that is SuDS compliant and kind to tyres and feet.
A textured, scatter-coat finish for paths and low-traffic areas where a grippy surface matters more than drainage.
A sound existing surface can often be cleaned, repaired and overlaid, saving the cost of a full dig-out.
Matching paths, patios and steps that tie the front and back garden together in one seamless finish.
Natural stone blends, contrasting borders and inset patterns, with samples brought to your survey.
Smooth, joint-free resin for level thresholds, ramps and buggy, wheelchair and wheelie-bin access.

A properly mixed and laid resin bound surface resists cracking, frost and everyday car traffic for many years.
No loose stones, no joints for weeds. A regular brush and an occasional wash keep it looking new.
Curves, borders, steps and patterns, in a wide choice of natural aggregate colours to match any home.
Resin bound is fully permeable, so rainwater drains through and the drive meets SuDS requirements.
A firm, slip-resistant, level surface with no loose gravel, ideal for children, older visitors and wheelchairs.
Most resin drives are laid in days, and you can usually walk on them within hours of finishing.

Call 01753 331248In Datchet the main cost drivers are drive size, removing the old surface and building a base that copes with river gravel and a high winter water table. Frontages near The Green may suit a premium aggregate blend, and narrow village access can slow deliveries. If your current tarmac or concrete is sound, overlaying it reduces cost. The names sound alike, but the two systems behave very differently. This is what matters when you choose.

Ask us at a free surveyDatchet sits on the Thames floodplain, and parts of the village flooded badly in 2014. That makes drainage the first thing we look at. A resin bound driveway on an open-grade base lets water drain through rather than running off, which helps on low-lying plots near the river and the Datchet Common area. The ground is river gravel with a high water table in wet months, so we set levels carefully and avoid deep excavation where it is not needed. The centre of the village around The Green is a conservation area, so frontages there call for a sympathetic aggregate colour and edging. Planning and dropped kerbs both sit with the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead.
We also cover these nearby areas with the same team and the same guarantees.
Resin is only as good as the base and the mix. This is how our team makes sure yours lasts.
We check the existing surface, levels and drainage and show you aggregate samples on site.
An itemised quote covering base work, resin system, edging and finish, with a start date.
Dig-out and a new open-grade tarmac or concrete base, or repair and clean a sound surface for overlay.
Edges, borders, drainage channels and thresholds are set before any resin is mixed.
Resin and dried aggregate are mixed in measured batches and hand trowelled to an even finish.
The surface is left to cure, the site is cleared, and we give you simple care advice.

Straight answers to the questions Datchet customers ask us most. If yours is not here, call us.
Yes. Water drains straight through a resin bound surface into the base below, so it is SuDS compliant and usually meets the permeable front garden rules without planning permission.
Yes, as long as it is resin bound and laid on a permeable base. Water passes straight through the surface and the open-grade sub-base, which reduces run-off compared with block paving or standard tarmac. In Datchet, where the water table can rise in winter, we set levels and base depth to suit your plot. A resin bonded finish is not permeable, so we do not recommend it here.
Often, yes. If your tarmac or concrete is sound, stable and drains well, we can repair and clean it and lay resin on top. If it is cracked or sinking, a new base is the better long-term choice.
Laid on a proper base with UV-stable resin, a resin bound driveway should last many years with simple care: regular sweeping and an occasional wash.
You can usually walk on it within a few hours and drive on it after a day or two, depending on the weather. We confirm timings on the day.
We use UV-stable resin, which resists yellowing in sunlight. Oil and fuel spills should be cleaned up quickly, as with any driveway surface.
